Relevant legislation
In 2007 the Government passed legislation exempting the Trust from repayment of CRU benefits. In 2009, further legislation was passed exempting Trust Claimants from having to repay lump sum payments received under the Pneumoconiosis etc (Workers’ Compansation) Act 1997 and the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008.
